The Hearth and Soul Link Party – March 2025 Edition

Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Happy Spring! We may have to wait until 20th March for Spring Equinox, and the weather may not agree, but like meteorologists, I have always considered March 1 the first day of Spring. And if you are in the southern hemisphere, Happy Fall!

The Latest

I hope all is well in your corner of the world. We had a lovely visit to Bermuda last month, and today finds me in northern California. I have come along with my husband on his work trip and I’m looking forward to some sunshine and catching up friends.

On the website this month I have been sharing the things we learned during our home renovation including renovation hints and tips to help if you are contemplating – or are in the middle of – a renovation project of your own. You can see some of the results of our renovation on my Instagram feed, including in this most recent post.

Blood Oranges are in season in most places right now and I have some delicious recipes to help you make the most of them including this Blood Orange Pound Cake.

One of the things I look forward to in spring is enjoying my favourite salad recipes. If you love a good salad too, I have plenty of Spring Salad Recipes for you to choose from – from my twist on Waldorf Salad to Coronation Chicken Salad, a Tuna Pasta Salad and more.

If it’s fall where you are, or you are still in need of some warming comfort food, I have inspiration for you too!

My Mediterranean Beef Stew is delicious served over rice or pasta or as part of a garlic bread topped casserole. For a vegetarian alternative, why not give my Old Fashioned Vegetable and Barley Stew a try?
