Hi there! Welcome to the Hearth and Soul Link Party! This week it’s all about Things to Do in September – recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts and more!
How are things in your corner of the world? I’m in California with my husband, who is on a business trip. It’s lovely to be here in the warm sunshine catching up with friends, including our friend Sandi from Fearless Dining and her husband. Later this week I’m looking forward to lunch with the lovely Pauline Wiles. I’m loving the fresh start that September brings, and am enjoying making plans and looking for things to do in September to enhance the season to come!
On the home front, our library is now all decorated; I just have to finish putting the books away when we get home. However between the chaos of having the decorators in and getting ready to go away, I only managed one blog post last week. It’s a delicious one though – another of my favourite family recipes.
Don’t miss this Rustic Pear Tart. It’s as easy to make as it is delicious – you don’t even have to roll out the pastry unless you really want to – and you probably have all the ingredients on hand in your store cupboard right now!
