Hi there! Welcome to The Heath and Soul Link Party where this week’s features are inspiring Holiday Weekend Ideas. It’s Victoria Day in Canada today, and with Memorial Day coming up in the US, and the second May Bank Holiday in the UK, it’s a great time to relax and recharge with family and friends.
At The Hearth and Soul Link Party, blog posts about anything that feeds the soul are welcome. This includes family, home, recipes, decorating, crafts, DIY, travel, organisation, book reviews, the arts, self improvement and more!
How are things going in your corner of the world? I’ve been working hard on the new GDPR regulations in Europe and I have a new Privacy Policy on the website in order to stay in line with them. Did you watch the Royal Wedding? As we are in California at the moment we got up at 3am to watch it, and I’m so glad we did.
Take an inside look into the hotel where the Duchess of Sussex spent the night before her wedding.
You really can step back in time at Cliveden House Hotel. Elegant and romantic, it is one of my favourite hotels in the south of England.
Last week I also shared a recipe that helps you enjoy the flavours of the Royal Wedding Cake by making a variation on my Lemon Drizzle Cake. And as it was National Vegetarian Week last week I shared how I enjoy being An Occasional Vegetarian.
Don’t miss this 3 Day Vegetarian Menu Plan with Recipes for National Vegetarian Week and beyond!

And this Red, White and Blue Cheesecake from Marilyn at Marilyn’s Treats is suitable for holiday weekend entertaining in all three countries, as the Union Jack was Canada’s flag when Queen Victoria was on the throne.
