Hello and welcome to the September 2025 Edition of the Hearth and Soul Link Party where we share blog posts about everything that feeds the soul; from home, family and recipes, to travel, culture and style. I look forward to seeing your posts as we link up here at Hearth and Soul one last time.
The Future of The Hearth and Soul Link Party
After much thought and deliberation, I have made the difficult decision to stop hosting the Hearth and Soul Link Party to concentrate on this website and blog and also on some of my other writing projects. I will still be sharing the food, travel, style and lifestyle inspiration you love right here on the website, with plenty of new content to come!
There are two main reasons behind my decision:
- Google no longer favours link parties, and continuing to host Hearth and Soul is hampering both my website’s SEO and its domain authority.
- Preparing the party each month – along with visiting, commenting on, and sharing links – is very time-consuming. I want to spend more of that time creating new content for you. I have so many exciting ideas, inspiration and stories to share!
The Future of The Hearth and Soul Community
I am so grateful to everyone who has shared, visited and supported the Hearth and Soul Link Party over the last 15 years. The Hearth and Soul Community and the public Hearth and Soul Link Party Facebook Page will remain open. If you continue to visit and share, they will remain great places to expand your reach.
Lots More To Come Here On The Website
As this new chapter begins, I will still be sharing the food, travel, style and lifestyle inspiration you love here on the website, with plenty of new content to come!
You can also subscribe to my newsy updates sharing everyday joys and inspiration.
In the meantime, these are just a few posts you may enjoy exploring.

The Final Edition of The Hearth and Soul Link Party
Right, it’s time to link up!
Please share the permalink to your blog post, not a link to the home page of your blog. Please share a maximum of 8 links but feel free to share more in the Hearth and Soul Community on Facebook and on the public Hearth and Soul Facebook Page. Both will remain in place after this last edition closes on September 25th, and you are welcome to join us there.
By submitting a post to the link party here, you assert that you own the content and photographs. You also grant permission for me to share them here on the blog as well as on Pinterest, my own Facebook page, The Hearth and Soul Link Party page and The Hearth and Soul Community Facebook Group.
Please don’t forget to come back and visit me here on the blog. After all these years, I don’t want to lose touch, and I have so much exciting new content to share with you!

I have gone back and forth hosting link parties myself because of those same 2 reasons you mentioned, particularly the time involved, so I can fully understand where you’re coming from. I wish you all the best–you’ve got a wonderful blog and community. I’m happy you’ll still have the Facebook group. Thank you so much for years of hosting a truly lovely linkup! Best wishes as you move forward. 🙂
