I’m absolutely of the opinion that we are all beautiful in our own way without any help whatsoever, so I say, ‘spring beauty must haves’ with my tongue firmly in my cheek. However at the moment I need all the help I can get and these are products I’ve tried and love.
So if like me, you need a little spring boost, I’ve got your back with these personal recommendations. Here’s to making the most of the beautiful person that you are!

Spring Beauty Must Haves
Hair
About two years ago, my hairdresser recommended Olaplex. Olaplex products are bond builders, specially designed for coloured hair. I started using Olaplex No. 4 Shampoo and Olaplex No. 5 Conditioner and could see results almost from the first time I used them. I have been amazed by their repairing and rejuvenating properties.
I now also use Olaplex No. 3, a deep conditioner designed for use at home. Olaplex products are pricey but for me they are definitely worth the investment. My hair is much stronger than it was, and is smoother and less frizzy. It’s also thicker, but that may also be due to the collagen that I started taking around the same time. You can find out more about Olaplex on their website.
Skin
If I am in a hurry, there’s nothing like Dior’s Dreamskin One Minute Mask. Believe it or not, I really can see a difference in the appearance of my skin in just a minute, although you can leave the mask on a bit longer if you have time.
Recently I rediscovered Mary Kay and I really love their TimeWise Age Minimize 3D 4 in 1 Cleanser. My second favourite cleaner is by ESPA. Their Optimal Skin Pro Cleanser has little beads that gently exfoliate. You can use this product as a mask as well.
Crème de la Mer moisturizing cream has been my go to for over ten years. I get cross with how they keep putting the price up but it works so well for me I can’t resist buying it. Try a small container first before splurging on a larger one just to make sure you are as happy with it as I am!
These products are real all rounders, not just spring beauty must haves for me!
Eyes
Now we are wearing masks all the time, beautiful eyes are definitely spring beauty must haves.
Like many women, I have found that my brows are not as thick now I am older. (Why is it that men’s brows grow wild when they are older, but ours get sparser? Very unfair!) I’ve had great results with Revitabrow. Be sure to buy from the official website or a reputable salon.
My eyebrows have started to come in white in places so normally, I have them tinted. However when this is not possible I use Blinc eyebrow mousse. Available in a selection of colours (I use dark blond), it makes my eyes look much more defined. Be careful not to apply too much or it will look too dark. Use a very light hand when applying this spring beauty must have.
Spring Beauty Must Haves – Professional Help
I love professional facials and other beauty treatments when we are able to have them. Regular maintenance and treatment can reap big rewards. One of my spring beauty must haves is a real catch up with all my treatments, including CACI facials, manicures, pedicures and regular eyelash and eyebrow care.
Shout out here to my two favourite spas – Virgo Beauty in Goring and Mimi Spa in Burton-on-Trent. Both offer a professional, friendly atmosphere and lots of cutting edge treatments and products to help you look your very best. (Neither of these are affiliate links. I have just included them for ease.)
All of these Spring Beauty Must Haves recommendations are absolutely based on my personal experience of products I have purchased myself. I have no connection with the companies who manufacture them and cannot guarantee your personal results. Always patch test products on a small area of skin before using them.
I do not do reviews, but if you would like to see your product featured here at AprilJHarris.com please contact me for advertising rates.

It really is wonderful, Karen 🙂
I’m definitely in the “less is more” beauty product club but I have to admit recently I’ve been feeling a little drab. And, April, in person you always look so radiant: I must conclude you know what you’re talking about!
You definitely don’t look drab, Pauline! It’s amazing how a little help can give me a lift though 🙂 Thank you so much for the compliment!
