I love everything about fall baking; the warmth of the oven radiating through the kitchen, the smell of spices greeting people as they come into our home, and the pleasure of sitting down to a delicious, warm from the oven treat.

Fall Baking Recipes
Muffins
Start the day with one of my delicious Pumpkin Gingerbread Muffins. Moist and spicy, these tasty treats make a great breakfast on the go.
My Carrot Walnut Bran Muffins are hearty and satisfying – and they are a great way to use up extra carrots too!
Make the most of seasonal apples and pears with these delicious Apple Pear and Pecan Muffins. They have a delicious streusel topping that is hard to resist!
Fall Cakes
My friend Heather’s Pumpkin Cake recipe cuts into lots of delicious bars so there is plenty to share.
Whether you buy your blackberries in the grocery store or find them in the hedgerows, this easy to make Blackberry and Apple Cake is a wonderful way to use them.
Many varieties of pears are in season in the autumn as well – just right for using in this warming Pear and Ginger Cake. There’s a gluten-free option for this recipe as well.
Bundt Cakes
This Pumpkin Bundt Cake is one of my favourite fall baking recipes – and there ares gluten-free and dairy-free options too.
Perfect for company, this Banana Date Cake with Walnut and Honey Glaze tastes even better a day or two after it is made.
Full of warming spices, this Apple Pecan Cake with Maple Glaze has a delicious seasonal flavour.
Loaf Cakes
My Butternut Pecan Loaf Cake is a mouthwatering way to use up butternut squash. I’m always looking for different ways to use the huge variety of squashes and root vegetables that are available this time of year and fall baking recipes are a great place to start.

All of my easy fall baking recipes are great for entertaining and they also make great gifts for family and friends. For me, that is what fall is all about – returning to hearth and home and drawing those we love close as the colder, darker days of winter approach. You are spot on. Fall spices do make everything feel warm, comfortable, and cozy. We are having our first taste of fall this weekend and I am loving it even if it’s overcast and gloomy. The air is crisp and breezy. It certainly does make me want to bake something, especially after seeing your breads and cakes.
