Few things are more comforting than a good cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake. Whether you enjoy a strong espresso, a milky latte, a frothy cappuccino or a simple filter coffee, the right cake can make your coffee break even more of a treat.
From classic loaf cakes and rich chocolate bakes to more traditional cakes, this collection includes some of my favourite cakes that go well with coffee. Although I first put this collection together with UK Coffee Week in mind (12th to18th October 2026), these cakes are perfect for enjoying with coffee all year round.
Whether you are entertaining friends, hosting a coffee morning or simply looking for something delicious to bake, you are sure to find a recipe among them that you will love.

A weak coffee is fine (1 tsp is enough for about 10 cups for me) but don’t hold it against me 🙂 Because I loooooooooooove these cakes!!
